Football returns after Covid-19 Stoppage in Sri Lanka

The Covid-19 pandemic has not only ensured the lockdown of virtually the whole world, it has also shut down all kinds of sporting activity.

With all sports worldwide coming to halt due to the pandemic, a few sports like cricket and athletics are gearing up for a return to action from the first of this month, based on the assurance given by the Minister of Sports who recently stated step-by-step sports will be allowed to return, but will have to adhere to strict Government health guidelines.
